What is the cost to use the center?
The service is free! We know that a parent is a child's first and most important teacher. Therefore, we encourage parents to use the center often.

What happens if items are lost or damaged while in my care?

The F.A.S.T. Pass
What is a F.A.S.T. Pass?
F.A.S.T. stands for Families and Schools Together. The Family Intervention Library provides this form to all Livingston Parish Public School teachers. Teachers can complete it for children who need help with classroom skills, additional support at home, or more challenging activities. The pass helps FIL staff suggest materials that target the listed skills.
Do I need a F.A.S.T. Pass to visit the FIL?
Parents do not need a F.A.S.T. Pass to use the center. Parents may visit any time during our hours of operation to browse learning materials and check out items to use at home with their child.
